01 7-Day Returns

You can return your saree within 7 days of delivery.

• The saree must be unused, unwashed, and undamaged, with all original tags and packaging intact.
• Returns are accepted for exchange or store credit — we do not offer cash refunds.
• Store credit never expires and can be used on any future order.

Who pays for return shipping?

• Change of mind / exchange: return shipping is paid by you.
• Damaged or wrong item: we cover everything — see below.

02 Damaged or Wrong Item

If your saree arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, we will replace it free of cost.

• Please report it within 48 hours of delivery.
• Email us at shopdraplo@gmail.com with your order number and clear photos. An unboxing photo or video helps us resolve it fastest.
• We arrange free pickup and send your replacement at no charge.

03 How to Start a Return

1. Email shopdraplo@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
2. Our team will confirm and share the next steps.
3. Once we receive and inspect the saree, your exchange or store credit is issued within 3–5 business days.

04 What Cannot Be Returned

• Sarees that have been used, washed, or altered.
• Items without original tags or packaging.
• Damage caused after delivery due to handling, washing, or wear.

Please note: as our sarees are handmade, slight variations in colour, print, and finish are natural and are not considered defects — they are the mark of genuine handcraft.

05 Saree Care

A Draplo saree is an heirloom piece. With the right care, it will stay beautiful for years.

Dry Clean Only

All Draplo silk sarees are dry clean only. Please do not hand wash or machine wash, as this can damage the silk, the dye, and the delicate gota patti and zardozi work.

Everyday Care

• Storage: Store your saree in a soft cotton or muslin bag — never plastic, as it traps moisture.
• Folding: Refold your saree every few weeks to prevent permanent creases along the same line.
• Sunlight: Keep it away from direct sunlight, which fades natural dyes over time.
• Moisture: Store in a cool, dry place. Add a sachet of camphor or neem leaves to protect against insects.

Ironing

• Iron on low heat only.
• Always place a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the saree.
• Avoid ironing directly over gota patti, zardozi, or embellished areas.

Handling the Handwork

• Gota patti and zardozi are delicate — handle gently and avoid pulling threads.
• A little wear in metallic work over years is natural, and adds to the character of a handmade piece.
